Using Lightreel

These terms apply to the Lightreel website, API, and MCP connectors, provided by Ligthreel LLC ("Lightreel," "we," or "us"). By using Lightreel, you agree to these terms. If you use it for an organization, you must have permission to act for that organization.

Your account and content

Keep your sign-in details and API keys secure. Only submit content you have the right to use, and give connected assistants access only when you intend to authorize it. You retain your rights to content you submit and allow us to process it to provide the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.

Acceptable use

Use Lightreel lawfully and respect other people’s rights, including privacy and intellectual property. Do not use it to harass people, obtain unauthorized private data, bypass access controls or usage limits, or interfere with the service.

Research results

Lightreel uses AI and third-party sources. Results may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate; check original sources before relying on them. Access to a video, image, transcript, or other third-party content does not grant permission to republish or commercially reuse it. Third-party services and assistants have their own terms.

Plans, billing, and cancellation

Prices, billing intervals, trial conditions, and usage limits are shown when you select a plan or check out. Recurring subscriptions renew according to those terms until canceled. API and connector research uses your Lightreel plan’s applicable credits or limits.

You can manage or cancel your subscription on the subscription page. Contact [email protected] about billing issues or refund requests. These terms do not limit refund or cancellation rights required by applicable law.

Availability and changes

Features and access to third-party sources may change. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or specific research outcomes. We may restrict access when needed to address misuse, security issues, or violations of these terms.

We may update these terms as the service changes and will update the date on this page. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
